Hi, I’m Jo

Hi, I’m Jo and the founder of Little Star Sleep Consultant. I'm a mum to a 2 year old son and a primary school teacher with over 10 years experience, currently working in year 1.

Before becoming a mum, one of my main worries was dealing with the lack of sleep as I have always been someone who needs their sleep. I knew that sleep would obviously be impacted and it was expected with a new born. After 13 months, of sleepless nights, I realised the importance of sleep for my baby but also the whole family. Sleep deprivation impacts everything, I didn’t feel like myself and everyday was a struggle. I have been in your shoes, looking for a sleep consultant and thinking, 'Is this really for me?', 'Am I going to upset my baby?' But when I found a gentle sleep training method, it was a game-changer! My son was able to learn to self-settle using a responsive approach, slept through the night and our daily routine finally fell into place. Everyone was happier, well rested and able to enjoy all the daily magical moments to the full.

Having been through this journey myself, I decided to learn more about infant sleep and trained to be a baby and toddler sleep consultant with the highly regarded Sleep Consultant Academy. I have an OCN qualification and have been helping families regain their sleep ever since!

My main focus is to help babies and toddlers develop into calm, content, and confident sleepers through a fully supportive and responsive approach.

Using gentle sleep training methods and a compassionate touch, I create personalised plans designed to fit the unique needs and circumstances of each family. In just a couple of weeks, your little one’s sleep can be transformed, bringing lasting benefits to the well-being of your entire family.
